Designed in 1963 by Jack Heuer as a loving tribute to the most dangerous motor race in the world – the Carrera Panamericana – the Carrera watch has always been associated with life on the road. Built specifically for use by professional drivers, the original Carrera watch broke all the rules and ushered in a new era of timepiece design.
Crafted for use at high speed, this TAG Carrera Watch is a precision-focused timepiece that’s equally at home in the cockpit, on the pit wall, or down city centre streets.
Powered by a Calibre 5 automatic movement that is counted amongst the most reliable motors in the industry, this watch also benefits from a 38-hour power reserve.
The striking black dial features rose gold hands and baton hour markers, all of which utilise luminescent highlights to allow for improved legibility. A split-screen day/date window is situated at 3 o’clock, while minute markers encircle the face.
The fixed stainless steel bezel secures the scratch-resistant glass in place and the stainless steel bracelet benefits from a deployment clasp for all-day comfort.
